11/23/09 – GI Receives G-7 Master Printer Qualification Richmond, Va. – Graphics Innovations announced today the achievement of G-7 Master Printer status, making them the only qualified G-7 (Gracol-7) Master Printer in Central Virginia. The G-7 Master qualification mark means the company uses the most modern technology, techniques, proofing and press controls, and standards required to produce a close visual match from proof to print, and from one G7 press to other G7 presses. “Being G7 qualified means that we can have greater control over our quality, reductions in our make-ready and have better proof-to-press matching than anyone in our area,” said Pat Patterson, President of Graphics Innovations, LLC. The company, one of the first to experience the benefits of Systemservice 36plus, has chosen to partner with Heidelberg Systemservice for an additional two years by purchasing the Heidelberg Partner Program Full Service Agreement. The initial suite of services was included with the purchase of the shop's new 6-color Speedmaster SM 102 press more than three years ago. |
